We worked with Ikea's global design team led by senior product development Ronnie Runesson. The goals of the project: * To enable IKEA’s team to deep dive into the world of urban farming through the lens of sustainability and design thinking * To provide a framework to inspire, share knowledge and support IKEA’s home urban farm project * To create and implement a road map from empathy to prototyping in-home urban farming products

Creating a fully immersive experience in food and Ag for the fashion and lifestyle leaders. A beautifully designed learning book merging play, aesthetic and quality materials to spark interest and curiosity now and in the future

A creation of distributed experiential get aways to revive the spirit and get up close with vegetables. Ways to dimensionalize, add character and enjoy life in urban environments that are frequently dense.

Team building on a farm. Moving out of the built environment to partner farms who practice conscious and organic farming creates an interesting and intreguing backdrop to create and explore new things.

The product is only one element of the transformation towards a healthy society. Equally important are the new ways in which we work together and the system in which the product exists. That said The Pot of Black Gold provides a portable and easy to start urban garden, gets us to consider the full life-cycle of the pot whereby all materials are renewable and will return to the soil. Regenerative Design

By 2050 80% of our population will be living in cities. Urban citizens are removed from their food sources and fewer and fewer are aware of their food sources. Education raises understanding and interest in food and leads to healthier citizens. We have experiential learning programs for business and education from primary through to university.
